United in their love of fine materials and a desire to create exceptional designs, Stéphanie Coutas and THG Paris unveiled the result of their partnership on Monday 10 September.
Montaigne is a new collection of bathroom fittings and accessories showcased in a stunning concept bathroom.
The Montaigne collection, available in three types of marble
The Montaigne collection was inspired by the idea of transformation: using raw materials, brass and marble, to create contemporary design and decor pieces; enhancing nature and illustrating the beauty found in everyday objects; and finally, imbuing the whole with the traditions of French luxury that Stéphanie Coutas and THG Paris hold so dear.
Grand Antique marble, Leonardo Grey marble and White Venus marble, with or without handles… Designed for sinks, showers and bathtubs and complete with a range of matching accessories, the Montaigne collection shines a light on French marble shown to its best advantage by French craftsmen.
“A bathroom fit for a Parisian”
A living space with touches of boudoir intimacy, this bathroom is inspired by the French art of living and Parisian elegance, as embodied by Stéphanie Coutas herself. It features several of the designer’s signature pieces, such as the “Paris” Baccarat chandelier, the “Elipse” wall light and the monumental Taï Ping rug.
The ethereal, oval-shaped Mineral Stone bathtub is the focal point here, delicately poised on a Grand Antique marble base. Developed by the THG Paris studio and made in France, it infuses the bathroom with a voluptuous sense of luxury.

A symbiotic encounter between two partners with a deep love for Paris, this collaboration took root in Maison & Objet and Paris Design Week 2018.
