Hotel Dress Code Paris
Designing a hotel that would channel the spirit of Haute Couture, located in the former headquarters of
the Fédération du Prêt-à-Porter (French Federation of the ready-to-wear industry), near the Paris Opera House, is
that not the call of destiny? It was certainly a detail that did not escape the interior designer’s attention, allowing her
to draw on her former career as a stylist and fully express her passion for fashion. An expert in made-to-measure,
Stéphanie built a narrative based on couture and shopping to create a joyful and luminous place in which to
showcase all the key elements of a hotel with a strong identity, where each room is an invitation to discover and
enjoy a new arty experience.
In the lounge, the eggshell and lacquer tabletops are made by Petra, a former colourist for Christian
Lacroix. A large glass ceiling and vertical garden ushers light and greenery into the lobby.
The Haute Couture maisons are present throughout the hotel’s 33 rooms. The wallpaper, textiles, and cushions all
sport fabrics and motifs that symbolize the work of the creators. Keep an eye out for the marinière stripes of Jean-
Paul Gautier or the Hermès stirrups.
The final touch to this creation is the spa area, with its hammam and swimming pool, a reflection
of Stéphanie’s endless quest for originality and designs that challenge artists and artisans alike.
