Private homes

Trocadéro Paris

For this particular project, the interior designer was given carte blanche. She planned the apartment with only the most noble materials and pieces in mind, from precious woods and woven glass to giant mirrors and Versailles flooring.

Every part of it is unique: the marble slab in the grey and aqua green master bathroom; the “boudoir” master bedroom with its Haussmann-style mouldings; the sumptuous custom-crafted closet in high-gloss finish wood that looks as if it came straight from one of the exclusive boutiques on Avenue Montaigne; the beautiful Paris chandelier, a model designed by SC Édition for Baccarat; the Goldsmith chairs sitting in the entrance, to name just a few.

This Parisian pied-à-terre is a model of ingenuity, to its denizens’ greatest delight. Who would not be awestruck by the home’s many remarkable features? Note the kitchen’s central island in brushed marble and suspended table made of white wood travertine, the subtle play of light created by the woven glass door of the walk-in closet, and the velvet flocking on all the moulded wall panels in the master suite — works of such delicate craftsmanship that they were first made in the atelier before being assembled in the apartment, panel by panel.
