Cap d’Antibes

Since the mid-19th century, Cap d’Antibes has been famous for its prestigious villas and luxury residences. This exceptional Mediterranean setting was the backdrop to an interior decoration project the agency received for a sumptuous 400 m2 designer villa from the 1930s, built like a cruise ship ready to take to the seas.

A colossal alabaster chandelier rains 10 metres down to the basement. This creation by Stéphanie’s good friend Alain Ellouz, the French alabaster specialist, is further proof of her commitment to “made in France”. In the upstairs area shaped like the prow of a ship, the master bedroom is styled after a cruise suite.

This luxury villa has been furnished with made-to-measure pieces such as the two couches in the living room, or the long rectangular table in the dining room, one of Stéphanie’s marvels, the top of which was woven with gold metal thread, encased in glass and encircled in polished brass. Still in keeping with the marine theme, splashes of blue are found throughout the villa, in the carpets, cushions, couches, and even in the featured works of art, as an echo to the sweeping view of the Mediterranean.
